MD's Board Chair Recognised

Janet Collyer celebrated on International Women in Engineering Day, 2022

Machine Discovery's Board Chair, Janet Collyer, has been recognised for her inspiring leadership by IC Resources on International Women in Engineering Day, 2022.

"From childhood I always wanted to become an engineer, making things, solving problems, and doing jobs differently for the better. As I progressed from operational to tactical to strategic it became clear that the next big step was to contribute at a higher level leveraging the combination of my technology and international business experience. A board position was the obvious move and the transition has enabled me to apply my skills in a broader context whilst still learning and helping others to excel."

Brett Larder, Co-founder + CTO
While researching Atomic and Laser Physics at Oxford, Brett developed the first prototype of the Discovery Platform. As CTO, he leads the vision and development of the platform, productisation of research, and architecting of the company's technological infrastructure.
